UM CURE 2020 - eyes on the future

Since our last Consortium Meeting last year in November, we've been preparing the next steps for the project and creating connections to ensure continuity of the work developed.

The UM CURE 2020 Consortium has brought together top experts in uveal melanoma in order the develop new therapies for metastatic UM. We are currently coordinating efforts within and outside the Consortium in order to make sure the work developed will continue to serve our main porpuse: the improve the quality of life of UM patients. 

The UM Cure 2020 Progress Review Meeting took place on the 27th of November, with a virtual one-day meeting.

During the meeting, all project partners provided an update and discussed the projects’ future directions. We focused on core themes, discussing the dissemination and implementation of clinical trials and how to grant access to them.  Also, all the involved laboratories discussed the development of next generation UM preclincal models.
