The Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO) has presented Professor Sarah Coupland with a ‘Distinguished Service Award’ at the 2018 Association’s annual meeting.
The Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO) has presented Professor Sarah Coupland with a ‘Distinguished Service Award’ at the Association’s annual meeting.
This meeting took place from April 29 to May 3, in Honululu, Hawaii, where 12.000 international basic and clinical researchers from 75 countries shared the latest breakthroughs in vision research.
Professor Coupland, who was ARVO’s immediate past Vice-President, leads the University’s Liverpool Ocular Oncology Research Group (LOORG) and is Director of the North West Cancer Research Centre at the same University.
During a poster session, Professor Sarah Coupland, also presented her most recent research about Liver Fibrosis and Metastatic Uveal Melanoma.
